Commissioned
Commissioned pieces are one of my favorite things to do. I’ve done everything from commissioned clothing items, to hand-bound books (wedding books, journals, and scrap books) to of course jewelry. Because my goal is to always take something already special to the person/people commissioning the piece and incorporated it into the final work, it makes the work that much more special. Usually I recycle broken necklaces, lonely earrings without their partners, photographs, keys…you name it. Bike parts and bike chain are kind of my all time favorite.
I’ve done works for nonprofits, for friends, and complete strangers.
